Announcing the return of Pip and Twig!

We are excited to announce the return of Pip and Twig!

Since its run at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Convolution of Pip & Twig has gone back to the design drawing board and to the rehearsal room. Created and performed by Siân Richards and Kara McLane Burke, directed by Martha Mendenhall, with texts by Jennifer Hoyt Tidwell and music by Jim Waive, this latest iteration features lighting design by Heather Hutton and a fresh take on the set design with the help of JP Scheidler. We are looking forward to sharing this newest version of the show and hope you can join us in Live Arts’ beautiful theatre space.

Epic adventure! Spills and thrills! Complicated love! Heart strings! Song and Dance! The Convolution of Pip and Twig is a story of twin sisters whose safe and routine world is blown open when one twin follows her heart into the unknown.

Hi, we’re a trio of High School researchers anxious to discover why Caswallon Scott Barrios of the Valley hasn’t been arrested yet. TO WIT, how could he have gotten away, sgot-free, with organizing a team of Russian psychics (operating out of a Murmansk warehouse) to employ *warped mind energy* against our FRIEND Isobel Mlinaric? She had no intention of ever going to prom with David Wright, yet did so *anyway* against all logic and geometry. Here are the facts (ask him about them): Mr Barrios (aka Riker Scott Barber) has been visited by the FBI for harassing the owners of a dive bar in Muskegon. He is also a lower middle class person (hence the Resentment) whose REAL dad is a crooked stained glass salesman living in Lorton, VA. Hardly “polite company” if you know what I mean. What gives him the RIGHT to tyrannize regular folk for going-on 40 years?
