PEP Working Weekend March 14 & 15

[singlepic id=109 w=320 h=240 float=] All the PEPsters were together again for our March working weekend. Martha joined us from down South and we spent all day Saturday and Sunday together (like we do) working on our show.  We made some headway on some of the administrative aspects of making theatre and had a good table work session on Sunday, and spent some time revisiting the material we have made so far, but the majority of our time was spent with the fabulous Katharine Birdsall. She is helping us with some dance aspects for the show. We spent most of Sat and Sun counting “one and two and three and…” and trying not to drive Katharine crazy. We did a little folk dancing and we did a little ballet and much like our 4 year old ballet counterparts spent more time than we should plotting our future ballet outfits! Let’s learn the stuff first, shall we?

All in all a good couple of days and a very interesting and educational experience. It is fascinating to navigate collaboration and communication with someone whose vocabulary is similar but just a bit different and we are looking forward to the rest of our work together with Katharine. We will be getting some Alexander schooling from her as well.

  1. Hi Mike,I really like the addnioital class offerings. Thank you very much! You’ll see more of me then. Most likely the 7pm class. However, I really liked the 6pm. Not sure if you still can keep that time .So, when will the new schedule go into effect? Thanks again!Zina

  3. Your’s is a point of view where real intelligence shines through.

  4. he belongs on the sidelines as the HC.Nine years and no offers anywhere.Strong then told Romey ‘Looking at these new recruits and saying goodbye already,no, I AM NOT CUT LIKE THAT.’ Jim then said that he actually believed Charlie. So do I. I did not believe Petrino but Strong has got more class in his pinky than Petrino has completely.

  5. Sylvie has a wide selction of whitsles, symbols, drums, rattles which other people bought for her. I think as a parent you learn pretty quickly not to buy noisy/musical toys. He looks super cool with his collar up and what gorgeous weather!!!! Youre so lucky. It like winter here again and its rained for 3 days. 🙁

  6. one of those little gems that a lot of people haven’t seen…. having Irish relatives, it is a particular favourite. Dry and often dark humour and Brendon Gleeson is wonderful in most films.

  7. AnonymousDon’t forget the chin!!! Plastic all over!!! and not looking good just strange. You would think with sooo much money in the Jackson family they could get Good Plastic surgeons. At least Janet looks reasonable.

  8. The problem that I usually has is that a ton of providers will be listed but when I call them I'll discover that either they are not taking new patients or that in some way I don't match the demographics of the types of patients they see (wrong age, wrong diagnosis etc). And of course it takes time to get a phone call back. It's easy to spend weeks playing phone tag with many providers only to find none can help.
